Robert Saleh: Aaron Rodgers Fully Participating in OTAs

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who made a brief return to practice late last season, is on track to start the 2024 season in good health.

Jets head coach Robert Saleh confirmed in a press conference on Tuesday that Rodgers is participating without any limitations during the team’s organized team activities (OTAs).

He looks good, man,” Saleh said, according to SNY. “The arm talent, obviously, is still there. But it’s really just re-acclimating to everything. We are trying a bunch of new stuff, too. Just trying to evolve within the offense. He’s doing everything.”

Rodgers had a brief and unfortunate stint in New York’s Week 1 game against Buffalo last season, where he tore his Achilles after just four snaps. While he managed to return to practice by late November, he did not play in any games as the Jets were already out of playoff contention.
